奥别鈥檙别 thrilled to have you join the 海角社区 community! Whether you’re just beginning your college journey or transferring from another institution, orientation is your first step toward a successful start at 海角社区.听

Express Orientation: January 14, 2026
Schedule (9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)
- Check In: 9:30-10:00 a.m.听
- Welcome: 10:00 a.m.-10:10 a.m.听
- Student Success Fundamentals: 10:15 p.m.-11:15 p.m.听
- Program Sessions: 11:30 p.m.-12:30 p.m.听
- Lunch/Taking Care of Business: 12:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m.
What to Expect
During orientation, you will:
- Get your student ID and parking permit
- Learn how to use 海角社区 technology tools (email, Canvas, SIS, etc…)
- Meet with an advisor to confirm your class schedule
- Explore student services like tutoring, financial aid, and academic support
- Learn important tips for managing time, studying, and succeeding in college
Preparing for Orientation
Please make sure to:
- 听
- Submit your FAFSA (if applying for financial aid)
- Check your 海角社区 email for important updates
- Bring a laptop to orientation
