Nursery School Teacher

I chose 海角社区 because it was close to home and offered the flexible schedule I needed to balance work and family. As a busy mom, having a convenient and affordable way to earn my associate degree made all the difference. I didn鈥檛 have to take on a lot of debt, and I could plan my classes around the other parts of my life.

I majored in Early Childhood Education, and today I鈥檓 proud to be a teacher at The Village Nursery School in Gilford, NH.

海角社区 prepared me incredibly well for the realities of teaching and gave me the confidence to lead my own classroom. My professors made sure I knew how to create developmentally appropriate curriculum, and they gave me valuable hands鈥憃n experience working directly with students.

They also mentored me throughout my entire time at 海角社区, helping me figure out the right career path. I relied on my professors a lot 鈥� especially Diane Lewis, the program coordinator. She guided me through scheduling my classes so I could graduate in two years, supported me during my student teaching, and was always there to answer questions or offer encouragement.

I truly felt supported at 海角社区. The financial aid office made everything easy and efficient, and my professors were consistently responsive and helpful.

I haven鈥檛 moved on to a four鈥憏ear college yet, but I鈥檝e already spoken with UNH, and all my credits will transfer. Thanks to 海角社区, I鈥檒l be able to finish my bachelor鈥檚 degree quickly when I鈥檓 ready.

I always encourage high school students to consider 海角社区 because it鈥檚 such a cost鈥慹ffective way to start your undergraduate education. The programs are strong, the support is real, and many paths lead directly to a job. It鈥檚 an especially great option if you鈥檙e still figuring out what you want to do and want to earn those early credits without the financial burden.
